      The Mixergy Gauge

      Control your hot water, heat source and check the status of your tank with the Mixergy Gauge.

      Your Mixergy tank comes equipped with a simple gauge to allow for easy and fast control of your hot water.Mixergy Gauge_numbered_1

      1. ON/OFF: Hold down to turn the tank on or off. When turned off using the Gauge, your tank will remain connected. It is not recommended to turn off the tank at the mains. 
      2. Wi-Fi Connection: This is blue when connected. 
      3. Blue indicates the volume of cold water in the tank.
      4. Green indicates the volume the tank is boosting too.
      5. Red indicates the volume of hot water in the tank. 
      6. Up Arrow: Press to boost the tank in 10% increments
      7. Down Arrow: Press to decrease boost in 10% increments

      Boosting your tank

      To increase your tank’s water level, press the Up Arrow to select the desired amount. The gauge display is divided into increments of 10 for easy measurement.

      • As you increase the water level, the gauge will turn green to indicate the boost.
      • As the water heats up, the gauge will gradually turn red.

      This helps you monitor both the boost level and the heating process at a glance.

      Changing the heat source

      The easiest way to change your heat source is through the Mixergy App. However, if you aren't using the App, you can easily do this using the Gauge. 

      1. Press and hold the Boost UP and Boost DOWN buttons at the same time.
      2. The display will light white, confirming that you have entered heat source selection mode. Continue to hold and the display will change colours to represent a different heat source. 
      3. Release the buttons once the display changes to the required heat source:
        • BLUE → Direct (Electric)
        • RED → Indirect
        • GREEN → Heat Pump
      4. The display will flash in the selected color to confirm the new default heat source.
      5. Power cycle the cylinder (turn it off and on) for the change to take effect.

      This ensures the cylinder operates with the correct heating system.

      Transferring ownership of a Mixergy cylinder

      If you need to change the account associated with your Mixergy cylinder, follow these steps:

      1. Press and hold the Boost Down and Power buttons simultaneously.
      2. Continue holding for approximately 15 seconds until the cylinder resets.
      3. This will disassociate the existing account, allowing you to register a new one.
