Register your warranty

Register your product within 60 days to get longer warranty cover.

Registering your Mixergy product can give you longer warranty cover. This is separate from adding the tank to the app. Register within 60 days of commissioning (when the installer sets up and checks the tank) or the first legal completion of a new home.

The online form normally takes a few minutes once you have the correct product details.

Use the MX number, not the app code

The warranty form asks for the MX number. This begins with MX followed by six numbers, for example MX000000. It is not the device code used to add the tank to the Mixergy app.

Before you start

Have the following information ready:

  • The product’s MX number.
  • The Mixergy model name.
  • The address where the product is installed.
  • The installation date or legal completion date.
  • Your contact details.

If you rent or live in managed housing, ask your landlord or housing provider whether they have already registered the product. Do not submit a second registration unless they ask you to.

Where can you find the MX number?

The MX number is printed on the product label on or near the controller: the control box at the front of the tank. Look for MX followed by six numbers.

Do not use the long device code or QR code used to add the tank to the app. The Wi-Fi name and password are also different details and are not used for warranty registration.

If the label is difficult to reach, do not climb, stretch behind the tank or remove a cover. Check your handover documents or ask the installer, landlord or housing provider.

How do you register?

1. Open the homeowner warranty registration form

Go to: https://www.mixergy.co.uk/warranty-registration/homeowner-warranty-registration/

2. Enter the product details

Enter the MX number and model name exactly as shown on the label or product information.

3. Add the installation and property details

Use the address where the product is installed. Enter the date requested on the form; check the installer’s handover paperwork if you are unsure. For a new home, the legal completion date is when ownership of the property formally passed to you.

4. Add your contact details

Use an email address you can access. Check the details carefully before continuing.

5. Submit the form

Keep the confirmation with your installation, commissioning and service records.

Which warranty terms should you read?

There are two versions of the warranty terms. Choose the version using the installation date or, for a new home, the legal completion date.

  • Use the terms for products fitted before 3 June 2026 if the relevant date was earlier.
  • Use the terms for products fitted on or after 3 June 2026 if the relevant date was on or after that date.

What happens after registration?

Keep the registration confirmation. The length of extended cover varies by product and component. It remains subject to the conditions, exclusions and maintenance requirements in the warranty terms.

Warranty registration and app registration are separate:

  • Warranty registration records the product for warranty cover.
  • App registration connects the tank to your Mixergy account and online controls.

You may need to complete both.

Keep the required service records

Registration does not replace servicing or other warranty requirements. Check the terms for your product and keep the records they require.

What should I do if I do not receive confirmation?

Check your junk folder and the email address entered on the form. If it still does not arrive, contact Mixergy with the MX number and the date you submitted the registration.

Common questions

Is warranty registration the same as adding the tank to the app?

No. You can register the warranty in a web browser without the Mixergy app. Use the MX number for the warranty form. Adding the tank to the app is a separate task and uses the device code or QR code.

What if I do not know the model name?

Check the product label, installation manual or handover documents. Ask the installer, landlord or housing provider if you are still unsure.

What if I miss the 60-day registration period?

Contact Mixergy with the installation or legal completion date. Do not assume extended cover has been activated until Mixergy confirms it.

Can a tenant register the warranty?

Check with the landlord or housing provider first. They may own the product, hold the installation records and manage warranty claims.

How long is the extended warranty?

It depends on the product, component and terms that apply to its installation date. Check the warranty information page rather than relying on one overall period.
