Download the resident welcome pack

A printable welcome pack to give residents moving into a home with a Mixergy tank.

Choose a resident welcome pack for a tenant or homeowner moving into a property with a Mixergy tank. It introduces the everyday controls without assuming the resident chose the tank or wants to use the app.

Once the approved file is available, give it to the resident during handover. Offer a printed copy or a digital version that suits their needs.

TOP TIP

Start with the Mixergy gauge: the panel with lights and up/down buttons on the tank. It gives the resident an everyday route to check hot water and request more without the app.

What is included in the pack?

  • A simple welcome to the Mixergy hot water tank.
  • A labelled picture of the Mixergy Gauge.
  • How to check how much hot water is ready.
  • How to ask the tank to heat more water.
  • Why the tank should stay switched on.
  • What to expect if automatic scheduling is enabled: Mixergy Flex learns the household’s hot water routine, which can take up to two weeks.
  • The benefits of using the Mixergy app, where access is available.
  • What to do when there is no hot water or a safety concern.
  • The correct housing-provider support details.

What should you add before sharing it?

  • The landlord or housing provider name.
  • The repairs telephone number and opening hours.
  • The emergency or out-of-hours route.
  • Whether the resident receives app access.
  • Any property-specific information about how the water is heated, such as electricity, a boiler or a heat pump.

Do not add passwords, QR codes, product codes or another resident’s account details to a general welcome pack.

How should you use the pack at handover?

Show the resident where the tank and gauge are. Explain that red lights show ready hot water, then point out the up arrow for requesting more. Fewer than ten red lights can be enough for their needs.

Explain that the app is useful but not required for hot water. If app access is part of the tenancy setup, help the resident use the correct invitation or account process.

Ask which format they find easiest to use. Check whether they would prefer a different language or need larger text.

IMPORTANT

A leaflet does not replace a short demonstration. Show the resident how to check and boost hot water before you leave.

Common questions

Can we add our own logo and contact details?

Add contact details in the editable fields. If you want to add a logo, check that the file is approved for co-branding first. Keep the control images and technical instructions unchanged.

Can we print the digital PDF?

Use the print-ready file where available. It will have the correct page size, margins and image quality.

What if the resident does not use the app?

Use the same pack. The gauge instructions provide the essential everyday route.

How do we request another language?

Ask your organisation’s Mixergy or project contact who handles content requests. Give them the language needed and the date you need it. Include the expected number of printed copies. Translated safety instructions need professional review.

What if the download or format we need is missing?

Do not substitute an unchecked file. Ask your organisation’s Mixergy or project contact for the approved version. While arranging it, explain the gauge in person using Use your tank without the app.
